I have this same question. I’d like to use a sound bar with a new 4K HDR 120hz (2 120hz HDMI 2.1 ports / 2 HDMI 2.0 ports) TV. My current sound bar when using a 2.1 ARC to the sound bar is degrading quality from an Apple TV 4K HDR that is using an HDMI port on the sound bar.
